A. Our company is operated by individuals who actually own and manage Rosati’s Pizza locations. We are a family owned business with a long history of experience. Every step you will take in your new venture has been taken and perfected for over 40 years by family members. We are not just a company selling franchises, we ARE Rosati’s Pizza, owned and managed by the Rosati Family.
Q. Do I need previous restaurant experience to own a Rosati’s Pizza?
A. We have designed a comprehensive training program for Franchise owners and operators; however, prior restaurant experience is strongly recommended as the Owner/Operator method is preferred. A good option is to hire a general manager with restaurant experience.
Q. What are the financial requirements?
A. Your total net worth should exceed $400,000, of which $100,000 is liquid.
Q. How much is the initial franchise fee?
A. The initial franchise fee is currently $35,000, payable at the time the Franchise Agreement is signed.
Q. How long does my Franchise Agreement last?
A. The initial Franchise Agreement term is 15 years, renewable in accordance with the current Franchise Agreement.
Q. Do you offer any type of financial assistance?
A. Rosati’s does not provide financing, however we are associated with and can direct you to several lending institutions or SBA lenders.
Q. Who is responsible for finding a location?
A. We will assist you in all aspects of site location from demographic analysis to the physical attributes of the location, and we will be happy to evaluate locations you may have a particular interest in.
Q. How long does it take to build the store?
A. Once the space is turned over from the landlord the typical build-out is 8 to 12 weeks.
Q. What is the standard size of a store?
A. The standard carryout location is 1,200 feet. The standard size of a sit-down location
is 2,500 - 3,000 feet.
